Founded in 1945, Brioni is proud to celebrate its 75th anniversary.
One of the most significant moments in the House’s history took place in Florence in 1952, when the brand staged the first ever men’s fashion show in the opulent setting of the Sala Bianca at Palazzo Pitti. Honoring this milestone, Brioni retraces the steps that accompanied the beginning of its legendary journey by returning to Florence to unveil the Fall/Winter 2020 Collection. In an exclusive event, arranged throughout the salons of the Renaissance Palazzo Gerini, some of the world’s most praised classical musicians stage a serene musical presentation – shadows of magnificence unite with Roman craftsmanship and Brioni’s animated heritage.
The opulent marble floors and frescoed ceilings stand against a sober collection of exquisitely tailored pieces. Shapes are precise, materials are feather-light and luxuriously soft. An amalgamation of rigorous black, warm neutrals, earthy browns, cream and tobacco sculpts a harmonious palette placing emphasis on the symmetry and proportion of the space. The plurality of personalities enhances the unique character of each garment. An idea of masculine softness comes to the fore, and it is unmistakably Brioni.
