In 1952 Brioni is the first brand in history to stage a men’s catwalk show pioneering the usage of male models. The event which took place inside the Sala Bianca at Palazzo Pitti in Florence introduced new silhouettes, bold colors and innovative fabrics.
1959
In 1959 the Brioni ateliers open in Penne, Abruzzo, home to the heart of the Italian tailoring tradition. Called Brioni Roman Style, the state-of-the-art factory introduced the concept of Prêt Couture that sealed the international rise of the brand
1985
In 1985 the Company founds in Penne its tailoring school, Scuola di Alta Sartoria, with the aim of transmitting to younger generations the genius of the Brioni sartorial method
