London, October 4th, 2013 – Brioni takes part in Wallpaper* Handmade. The exhibition dedicated to the fusion of craftsmanship and design traditionally held during Milan’s Furniture Fair
moved for the first time to London, where a selection of the best pieces from the last four years will be on show in Harrods’ window displays.
At the Knightsbridge luxury store, Brioni presents its specially made film, “Su Misura”, by artists Lernert & Sander and the Cappa suit by German artist Konstantin Grcic, made by reworking a tailored suit.
The star of the short movie is a little hand busily cutting and sewing its own suit and using a fun sense of savoir faire to show off its creativity. It’s an effective way to convey the distinctive tailoring skill channeled into meeting even the most exacting requirements.
“The artists’ work highlights how any customization request can be met by our Master Tailors,” declared managing director Francesco Pesci, “The Brioni Su Misura service is the perfect blend of traditional tailoring and innovation, resulting from thorough research into the field of fabrics and processes. The Brioni Su Misura experience surpasses the expectations of all of our clients, guaranteeing an infinite number of possible solutions”.
The display is on show to the public until October 22nd at Harrods, 87-135 Brompton Road, Knightsbridge, London.
